red carpet

You’re at that age when a lot of your friends are tying the knot. Which means… more practice.

This is from Tonton and Valerie’s, last December 17. My idea of a good reception is when the guests don’t leave after the dinner, but stay for the rest of the program. Theirs had guests milling around even after the program, you couldn’t get them to start leaving! Everyone just wanted to stay and celebrate. Great.

    Great reception, huh?

    To give you an idea, these are what you need:

    1. A group of the most obnoxious family friends that you have a stealing history with.
    2. An engaging emcee. {not that I’m complaining.}
    3. A wedding day not on a day before the Prayer Meeting day, nor before Sunday.
    4. YOUR guests. Not your parents’ nor your friends’ friends.

      yeah mrs, i did think of #3 pud after tonton’s wedding. easy to overlook when scheduling the wedding day, though. but it’s an epidemic, no, this leaving-after-eating. very rude.
